BarxBuddy is a handheld ultrasonic training device designed to correct a dog’s behavior using sound. The idea is simple: when your dog starts barking excessively or acts out, you press a button on the device. It emits a high-frequency sound (inaudible to humans but noticeable to dogs), which acts as a distraction and interrupts their behavior. The goal is to teach your dog to associate that behavior with the sound — ultimately stopping it altogether.
